The Fix Blender
Blending a Compressor or Equalizer with the original or “DRY” signal adds a lot to the sound of a track. The combination of the two signals can add fatness to an instrument like a bass or whole drum kit while retaining the punch. This effect can’t always be done in the box because of delay issues or a device is not in a plugin and is an outboard only piece. The BLENDER allows mixing between the WET and DRY signal, and has a bus that will mix all the channels together for use as a 8 channel mono mixer for choosing between multiple mic pres and combining them together as well. Additionally, pairs of channels can be operated by one control.
